Privacy

We collect what a susu group needs: your name, phone numbers, Ghana Card number and picture, photo, occupation, address, emergency contact and next of kin, and your payment history.

• Who sees what: other members of your group see your name, photo, weekly payment status and payout status. Only your group's administrators and MERGE SUSU staff see your Ghana Card, address, contacts and next of kin.
• SMS: your phone number is used to send receipts, reminders, payout notices and login codes through our SMS provider.
• Mobile Money: payment confirmation SMS received on the group number are stored to match payments to members.
• Security: files are stored privately, passwords are hashed, and staff actions are logged.
• We do not sell your data.
